Suppose that you know a child will be born into terrible conditions that he or she will not be able to escape from. You know that he or she will live in complete misery their whole life. Would you prevent the mother who wants an abortion from getting one?

Who am I to determine whether or not their life is worth living? Some people might say that I live in horrible conditions – that doesn’t mean my mother should have had the right to kill me.

You are the generation that will die out. And I take great joy that my granddaughter someday will never hear your belligerent, arrogant, shaming voices.

Unfortunately, it’s your generation that is going to die out, because you’re the ones who believe it’s okay to kill your descendants before they’ve had a chance to influence the world. My children, on the other hand, are thriving while being taught the value of life, and to fight relentlessly for the sake of those who cannot protect themselves.

You’re right about one thing — your descendants will not have to hear my voice, because I intend to see abortion criminalized before my life’s end.

Ok, I’ve been scrolling through your blog, and can I just say, I think abortion should only be made illegal when it’s illegal for the man who got the woman pregnant to abandon/leave without negotiated compensation? I don’t think it’s fair to close a door on women’s “way out” when men are free to leave. Plus, if the man is willing to take the child when the mother doesn’t want it, all the better. I dunno just, if the woman has to have it, whether she wants it or not, the man has to compensate :/

I agree with that opinion. Both parents should be held responsible for their child from the moment of conception, EXCEPT in the case of rape. If the mother does not want her rapist involved at that point, I believe the law should side with her.

I’m going to start off by saying that I 100% respect your opinion. However, do you not agree that abortions are still going to happen whether it is illegal or not? When abortion was illegal in the past, unsafe abortions were performed that often caused sterilization/death of the pregnant woman. Isn’t it better to have safe abortions performed by trained medical professionals, which would be impossible if abortion was illegal?

I agree that abortions will likely still happen after they’re outlawed, just like rape and murder still happen even though they’re illegal. However those things are illegal because they’re wrong, and without the checks and balances of the legal system, they would be much more prevalent.

The idea that women will not be able to have “safe abortions” once it’s outlawed is not logical. For one thing, it’s been proven (the president of NARAL admitted) that the majority of illegal abortions before Roe v Wade were performed in doctors’ offices by licensed nurses and doctors. They were only called “back-alley” because that was the way they were told to enter the clinics. The number of women who died from illegal abortion procedures before 1973 were also admitted to be extremely exaggerated for the sake of passing pro-abortion legislation.

That being said, the fact that pregnant persons may not be able to kill their children safely is still not a good reason to keep killing children a legal option. People risk their safety to steal, rape and murder, yet we unequivocally condemn them for doing so.

If something harms or kills another human, it should be outlawed. Abortion unarguably kills humans at their most vulnerable state, therefore it should be illegal in ALL circumstances.

I have two questions, 1: what gender are you and 2: what church do you go to

1: None of your business.

2: None of your business.

I don’t mean to come off as rude, but I’ve stated multiple times (and above the ask box) that I will not answer questions about my personal identity or lifestyle. This is mostly for safety reasons, but also because answering those kinds of questions distracts from the important issue at hand.

If you have any questions about abortion, feel free to send them in.
